Tracy Harrison has exhibited art work nationally and internationally. Her clay works reflect the organic, spiritual and emotive aspects of life. She creates large scale architectural ceramics, sculptures, functional vessels and she scales down in size also to tiles and jewellry. Tracy loves to work directly with fire. Her Raku and Smoke fired pieces are primitive and sensual reflecting earth textures and tones. Tile commissions are welcomed. Tracy enjoys engaging others in the creative process by offering private clay sessions in her studio to families, couples and small groups. Her children's clay camps are very popular on Salt Spring Island and are held in the summer. She is currently working in Mexico with the oldest authentic Talavera factory - Uriarte Talavera- on a special Dinner and Servingware line inspired by Frida Kahlo called Fridaware.
